Community Focus
I believe it's important to be involved and active in the local community, but it's more than just the hours I contribute to various volunteering efforts that is most meaningful. It's being a part of a bigger effort to help everyone in our local communities do well. Organizations that are committed to helping their community are ones that will be sustainable. PeopleSense Consulting is a small business, but it operates with big ideals.
Doing well by doing good
I am drawn to companies where leaders are making conscious decisions to do well by doing good. These organizations create a culture where all employees unleash their full potential, resulting in benefits for the individual, organization, and the community.
Volunteering in the community
I am always looking for ways to help animals, near and far, including at our local animal shelter, Centre County PAWS, In 2018, I was awarded Volunteer of the Year at Monadnock Humane Society. Animals enrich my life, but there are many other ways I support business and community efforts. I'm an active (and very proud) member of New Hampshire Businesses for Social Responsibility and a 2007 graduate of Leadership New Hampshire. I was a long-time member and past president of the Monadnock Rotary Club, as well as past Assistant District Governor for the Rotary District 7870 covering southern New Hampshire and Vermont. In addition, I have served on the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Assembly of Overseers and was a past Trustee of Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH.
